Domestic customers can benefit from VAT at 0% on home Air Source Heat Pump air conditioning systems from 1st April 2022 until 31st March 2027. After this time the rate will revert back to the reduced rate of VAT, 5%. Please check the HMRC website for clarification and full details. The Government has now included supplied and installed air-sourced heat pump (ASHP) systems under the reduced VAT scheme.
