The Kigali amendment to the UN Montreal Protocol commits nations (including the UK) to reducing hydrofluorocarbon greenhouse gases (HFCs) by 85% between 2019 and 2036. Why is my Daikin air conditioning unit blowing cold when in heating mode?
Winter Troubleshooter question. We receive a fair few calls each winter from customers advising that their Daikin air conditioning or Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) system is blowing out cold air and is not reaching temperature. Check the ‘Mode’ setting The first thing to check, is that the mode is set correctly to heating? Is the heating symbol showing on the screen? Three Daikin UK highly energy efficient 6.0kW Wall Mounted air conditioning systems were recently installed into the open-plan offices of new Cheltenham branch of County Building Supplies. The installation was completed in May 2017 ahead of the new County Cheltenham grand opening. How often should Air Conditioning systems be serviced?
The time interval between services for Air Conditioning systems is unfortunately not the same for every application. The general guideline is once every 12 months, at a minimum. The greatest variant depends on the environment that the Air Sourced Heat Pump system is working within. Conditions can change dramatically from an industrial building, to offices, homes or clean rooms. Each situation needs to be evaluated on an individual basis.
